Hey friends…it's been a little quite here, but I've been writing and recording in 2026. I've got a few new songs just about ready to share with world, but I wanted to share the impetus behind my inspiration of late. I have made some significant upgrades to my studio! In the Spring I made a long-awaited upgrade to my studio monitors. The impact that my new Barefoot Sound Footprint 01 Gen2 monitors brought to my workflow is a giant leap forward for me, and such an upgrade required an equally significant upgrade to the acoustics of my room.
I completed a full pro-level acoustical analysis of my new space, and the resultant scans indicated my new room “is exactly what a small critical‑listening room should aim for”. I instantly realized a HUGE difference in what I'm hearing in my mixes. Can't wait to share with everyone!
